What is standards-based web design and why is it important?

Web standards are guidelines for developers of both websites and the browsers that run them, to try and ensure that all websites are more reliable, efficient, accessible and long-lasting.

Do you provide hosting services or domain registration as well as website design and creation?

No, JebWeb Solutions does not offer their own hosting services or domain registration for websites. There are many companies that offer such services, but our recommended hosting provider is Hostmonster. Hostmonster are a US-based company offering a large amount of bandwidth, ample storage space, supporting all major technologies and providing a wide variety of high-quality applications ready to install and run. Their prices are low and service is good, and they include one free .com domain, making them our hosting provider of choice.
Hostess are an Australian-based company offering the best prices around for registering .com.au, .net.au and .org.au domains.
Of course, you are welcome to use your own existing or preferred hosting and domain provider. Whichever option you choose, you will need to provide JebWeb Solutions with sufficient access to enable us to create and manage your website. All hosting providers must also support PHP as a minimum.
